We will mention here that, whilst we will keep you informed of what we are doing within the search, we will not release the full details until payment is made and cheques are cleared. This is because we have had several clients make direct contact with who they were looking without us knowing and it has gone pear shaped.

We, Debby and Joan, at www.myfolks.co.uk are able to offer you a comprehensive service in your search for answers. We have recently purchased the Microfiche for Marriages and Births (this is every marriage and birth in the period of 1950-1995 - soon to have births from 1920 and marriages 1935-2001) so that your search can be initiated with immediate effect. If your search falls outside these dates we will visit the Records Offfice to find the necessary information. We are able to offer research, tracing and mediation but more than that, we are able to offer understanding and listening ear.

Birth Parent/Family Search

An adopted person generally needs to know details of their original birth name in order for us to proceed, but please contact us if this is a 'grey area'. You will be informed of updates and 'finds' on a regular basis and you will generally be able to reach at least one of us from 10am till midnight 7 days a week. Your search becomes our search and we share your journey with you.
